Gutters are designed to channel rainwater away from roofs and foundation, preventing the water from gathering in one place and causing damage. When gutters become clogged with excess water, debris from leaves and twigs, the water is unable to flow freely and overflowing onto the foundation of the building potentially causing leaks, overflow and damage to buildings. 

Keeping up with regular gutter cleaning allows for dirt and debris to be removed helping to prevent mould and allows water to flow freely.
